Conference locations

University of Tampere has three buildings on the campus: Main Building, Pinni A and Pinni B. All conference program will take place at the Main Building. The address of Main Building is Kalevantie 4, 33100 Tampere.

Ground floor

Ground floor is below the entrance floor. Please take the stairs down from the main lobby. Lecture halls D10 and D11 are located on this floor as well as the workshop rooms A05, A06 and A07. Café Alakuppila is located near lecture hall D10 (open Mon-Thu 8.00-19.00, Fri 8.00-15.00).

First floor

First floor is the entrance floor. When entering from the main entrance, information desk is on your left side and BOBCATSSS information desk is on your right side. Please register at BOBCATSSS information desk.

There are coat racks in the main lobby, where you can leave your outerwear. Finland is a generally safe country but please keep your valuables with you and do not leave them unattended. Room for luggage storage is situated next to the Main Building’s information desk and it is available during university’s opening hours. Please ask house managers to store your luggage.

Second floor

The Main Auditorium is located on the 2nd floor of Main Building. Please take the stairs up from the main lobby. The Main Auditorium and the University Restaurant Juvenes are located on your right side. The University restaurant is open from Monday to Friday 8.30 to 15.00. Lunch is served from 10.30 to 14.30. For some extra space, the cabinets are reserved for conference participants from 12.00 to 14.00. Café Campus is also located on the 2nd floor (open Mon-Thu 9.30-16.00, Fri 9.30-15.00), on the left side when taking the stairs up from the main lobby.

The gala dinner on Wednesday is happens in Finlayson palace. Finlayson Palace is located in the scenic area of Finlayson near city centre. The address is Kuninkaankatu 1.

The evening party on Thursday happens in Klubi. Klubi is located in an old customs house near the university. The address is Tullikamarin aukio 2.
